Early identification and student support

Children and youth spend most of their day at school, learning together with their peers and educators. School staff have an important role to play in the early identification of emerging mental health concerns, bolstering helpful skills and strategies and connecting students with supports. Early identification and support can prevent mental health concerns from escalating and can lead to better outcomes for students.
